Our client had a clear brief, a complete property solution to suit his family now and for the future, allowing for changing needs and technological advances. Including complete controllable innovative, LED lighting design. All which could be managed remotely. A multifunctional space, with timeless style and drama. Interpreting our clients vision and architects drawings we created a whole house design, which is both environmentally friendly, minimal light pollution, low energy controllable lighting. We presented complete design and luminaires. Liaising with architect and contractor we ensured the optimum passive house solution, on acceptance we supplied concise drawings to electrical contractor with cable specifications, complete lighting and control schematics. With precise luminaire locations to preserve the passive envelope. The whole project has a synergy, from the materials chosen to the decor. A coastal location, in a wooded setting. We had to ensure that the design and colour palette was complimentary to the surroundings and interior design. With open plan and double height ceilings, large windows angles and exterior space all considered. The house is rich in Architectural features and different textures which all needed enhancing and illuminating. outdoor lighting had to have a synergy with the indoor lighting to create an extended entertainment zone.
