Working with the Architect and management of Gerard Street Church, our aim was to light the annex to the church. The new build annex is a community hub offering support to the local community. Being used both day and night offering support and community events, this area needed to be multipurpose. Flexible, low energy, low maintenance controllable high performance lighting. We considered the plans and decided to enhance the supporting beams, adding perforated covers enabled us to turn these in to useful light sources and become a feature of the community space. We highlighted the granite wall with inground LED washing the wall, this naturally leads the community to the internal door to the church.
